Serving The Community
As your 16-year representative, what's best for kids has always been my north star. I'm so proud of our students and teachers. I want to continue bringing my experience, vision, and commitment to ensure every child has access to great schools.
Our district now has a very bright future! I co-led our district to one of the earliest returns to the classroom statewide and in providing computers to students in the meantime. I championed expansion of STEM and vocational classes, helped create Seaview Academy, and helped implement new graduation pathways, giving kids multiple routes to success. With the medical community, we created a mobile health clinic serving all schools with essential care. I fought to bring counselors back to every school and worked closely with local tribes to expand cultural and educational opportunities.
Most notably, I helped create and voters passed historic funding measures to rebuild our schools. During my presidency we developed a detailed 30-year facilities plan with input from over 1100 stakeholders, providing major ongoing local construction employment while respecting taxpayers by keeping taxes level and predictable.
